Toyama Prefecture is located almost equidistant from Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, and the Hokuriku Shinkansen Line allows travel between Toyama and Tokyo in about 2 hours. With the Northern Alps including the 3,000-meter Tateyama Mountain Range and the bountiful Toyama Bay, Toyama Prefecture has been blessed by nature since ancient times and offers a wide variety of sights and local cuisine to enjoy.
